Bumped into my life

I met a most delectable woman whose character was very jolly, in fact her unusual shoes caught my attention and as I remarked on them a little story unfolded. My friend Pam helped put together a small local art exhibition to help raise funds for the children in the burns unit at Princess Margaret hospital. We were able to get support from the local artists who donated their pieces and friends who turned up to purchase the art work on the night - we raised a few hundred dollars. I thought it was a great effort for our first show, I'm looking forward to our next one and hoping to raise much more. Anyhow I was just happy to have finally bumped into Fiona Woods the director of the burns unit and listen to her inspiring stories. Fiona Woods so jolly, so lively and most generous lady; on the night I recall her spending the most on an art piece in support of a local artist and the kids, and I thought - here is a woman who believes in herself and the vision she has to see children healed not only here in Australia but overseas as well.
